Hi!
I have a 2008 American Standard Strat and a ClassicPLayer 50 Strat. The standard is more comfortable to me. The 1-st string on the classic player is very close to the edge and sometimes it slips out when I bend it. In the guitar service they stretched the neck a little sideways. Now its better, but its not like the standard. I know the standard' neck is wider than the classic, but the low e string is in good position on the classic, so there would be enough "room" for the correct string adjustment. What should I do?

Hi Zoltan Papp,

Compare the nut on the Am Std to the nut on the CP 50s. See if the nut on the CP 50s has the slots cut at different places than the Am Std. Maybe you just need a new nut on the CP. I have had many Mex Strats that needed a new nut because of improper string spacing.

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.
