OK, maybe I'm an IDIOT but I was taking the strings off my American deluxe strat and 4 of the 6 strings won't come out of the bridge. The string ends seem to be jammed in. Anything I can do? I have the bridge out of the guitar.

yes you need a small screw driver that will fit in the hole from the top and just push them out. sounds like the holes are a bit small you may want to open them up a bit. had that happen with regular strings but the bullet ends fit in just right.

I always keep a small 4" long skewer (like you use for poultry) in my guitar accessory kit for the occasional time that string ends bind in the bridge.

If this happens again and you can't seem to push them out either, I'd suggest cussing. Alway's seems to help for me ...
