I've found myself doing this a LOT lately, and with the S1 off, in pos. 4 or 5 it sounds absolutely divine!!
It sounds just like a well humidified all solid wood dreadnaught... "tight-n-light".

Anybody else ever gotten hooked on this??

I use my Strat 12-string with an acoustic simulator on a couple of tunes.

It's not quite like a Martin D35-12 but it gets the job done. It would probably sound more authentic if I ran a D/I straight into the PA rather than using a normal blackface Fender amp.
