Will the s-1 switch,do the same thing,as the push button on the Deluxe Players Strat,so I won't have to drill a hole on a new 11 hole pickguard? or is there a little more to it,then that?

Hi morc,

The S1 can be wired the same as the push button on the DPS, and it can be much more. The S1 has several connection points for different options, but you can use it as one simple switch. :)

The S-1 is commonly used in conjunction with the 5-way "Superswitch", which when combined can yield ten distinct pickup options.

Hi Morc,

I've just finished a build where I used an S-1 for the same purpose and can second shimmilou's post.
It works a treat!

The S-1 is a 4 pole double throw switch. The pic below shows which terminals are live when in the on and off positions.

And here's another pic just because I have one.

Enjoy! :D
