Well, I saw a picture of Jeffytune's orange flake Strat with a gold anodized pickguard (SSS) and I'm going with that. This is gonna be my surf-oriented Strat so a little "over the top" look seems appropriate. I've pretty much decided that I'm going with CS Fat 50's to help get that Dick Dale sound...

I'm not sure what to do about the trem block and trem assy. I'm guessing adding a GFS block should be enough of an upgrade. The standard MIM trem assy should be okay, shouldn't it? Seems like it can get a workout with some of the surf stuff...
