Does anyone know if I order a guitar today, will it be a 2007 or 2008 model? Anyone who has purchased a Highway One or a Mexican Standard in the past six months, please let me know your level of satisfaction.
Thanks!
Brandon

:? Well, I guess that'd depend on where you order it from and where their stock stands. And also when the 2008 models were shipped.

2007 vs. 2008??? Does it really matter?

I would suggest this guitar for any beginner. It sounds great but the tuners at some point have issues, but that can be fixed with a screw driver. The Mexican strat needs a bridge adjustment if you are going to put 0.09-0.42 gage strings on it. And the fret board is pretty good except on the 9th fret the second string buzzes a little. Overall if you are just starting out get one. If you are an experienced player get and American Series Strat it pays for itself.

I am not doubting your knowledge of guitars however I recently read the thread you posted about your buzz on "your" 9th fret. I believe that basing every MIM Fender Stratocaster off of yours is an unfair statement.
