That is entirely down to the fretwork done at the factory and how the person who leveled your frets was feeling that day.

Drop a small straightedge across 2 frets then measure up from the fretboard t the underside of the sstraightedge with a set of feeler gauges.
That will give you your fret height.

Uh, .36 of an inch is more than one third of an inch.

About the diameter of a Sharpie felt-tip pen.

Are your frets taller than a Sharpie?

My bad. I was going by the warmoth chart.

Item Number Width X Height Description Used By
6230 .080" X .043" This is the smallest fret wire. Vintage Fender necks.
6130 .106" X .036" Often referred to as "Medium Jumbo". Many Gibson necks.
6150 .103" X .046" A true "Jumbo". It is about the same width as the 6130 but a bit taller. Modern Fender American necks.
6105 .096" X .047" Narrow and tall. A popular choice.
6100 .112" X .055" Huge! This is big stuff for the almost scalloped feel. Common on Ibanez necks

They feel small like the 6130s.

The 6130 is a popular fret for "modern" Fender necks with a 9.5 to 12 inch radius. They're on the Robert Cray, Jimmy Vaughn, and EC guitars. AFAIK, they're also used on the Roadworns and the Classic Player '50s and '60s models as well.

That or something close to it would be my bet.

If you need to know what YOU have, they need to be measured. This is the list:

Hi jblaze: now that we've established that you mean 0.036" tall...

I have lately been using fret wire that my supplier describes as "medium". It is 1.19 mm high - that's 0.047 inches. Now that's tall! (Though still not the tallest.)

Image

Matter o' fact, 0.036" is quite low by modern standards. That's smaller than Stew-Mac's lowest electric guitar fretwire:

Nuttin' wrong with it, mind: just not very big. Vintage spec - many of us are quite happy with that.

Cheers - C
