In a sense, I totally agree with you. OTOH, I'd like to give this brand new design of Fender's a whirl. If it 'bites the big one', I can always drop the Floyd in at a later date.

Unfortunately, my cat, "Niles" is taking the 'big dirt nap'. He was indeed, a great cat (big too).

Remember when good scores could be had on e-Bay, long before sniping was the norm? Well, one night I was on e-Bay, bidding on a Duncan HB. Niles hops up and casually strolls across the keyboard right when I was in the process of bidding $32 maximum. As a result of his stroll, I (or should I say, Niles) wound up bidding $32K on the pickup! Luckily, I won it for $31.10. I really do miss that cat!!

In that case, in the spirit of the build and the generousity of my fellow Fender Fourumites, you have a new package on its way to you. EVERY build needs a feline helper. Just make sure you watch out for a package with breathing holes and/or emitting noises. Enjoy!

What? You've got to be kidding! I can't have a cat where I'm currently living!!! I do appreciate the sentiment though.

I can assure you, you don't need a cat to build.

Just one of these to get fur in all your paint

The softest animal I've ever encountered too. Theres fruit in my kitchen more viscious than him. (that bannana is giving me a sideways look)
When the kids were learning to walk, hed follow em. They'd fall, grab the fur on his neck, pull em selves up. Toddle off, he'd follow em so they could do the same again.

Not perfect, but not at all nasty either. A rubbish guard dog, great draft excluder.

Well Martian,

I tried, but it appears everyone else in this forum is already too damn generous! Damn you all :P (thats a joke, tongue in cheek and all that).

Speaking of jokes, Marmite, filthy filthy stuff. Now Vegemite, thats a spread that'll put hairs on ya chest :D That on ya toast with a cuppa tea, no better way to start the day. Well, if directly after having that for breakfast you then received parts from all over the world to put into the cauldron an concoct some sort of international stratocaster, then that would be a better way to start the day :).

As tim curry once said, I wait with antici...........PAtion.

He's a Samoyed, Russian/Siberian. Quite a giant one too, near the size of a German Shepard.

The dogs were used by the nomadic Siberian tribes people for herding livestock and pulling sledges. They differ from Malamute's and Huskies in that they never grow up. They stay two years old until the day they die. The eternal puppies. Where Malamute's and Huskies will reach between 4-6 and become very serious dogs. These things just stay as puppy'ish clowns.

The band Three Dog Night took their name from the Siberian tribes people practice of getting the dogs in the tent with them and the kids on cold nights to keep warmer. It's where these dogs get their excellent social skills from.
All these dog's want is a family. As long as theres kids around, they are happy.
Poor thing had five homes in the two and a half years prior to him landing on the gravy train at chateau madhouse.

That's really a beautiful pup Nik,I love Samoyed and all the Husky-like dogs.I had a Siberian Husky long ago and he was as gentle as a bunny. Have you seen a Sheba Inu ?I hope I spelled it right,it's a very small dog and has a very Husky/Samoyed look perfect for folks that want a husky like dog but don't have the room.
