This is really cool what everyone is doing here! Sorry I'm a bit late to the party... but if you still need a neck I'd like to contribute the neck from my Deluxe Strat, once my replacement gets here. Plz lemme know!

Thank you so much!

Although we definitely have one on the way now, if for any reason that neck doesn't work out, I'll definitely let you know!

Ok Turtle back and brand new 500k split pot on the way to MARS.... It was the first time I saw a bridge like this, as I am in to 90s and older Strats. A 2-point with vintage saddles. When I saw it, I was thinking at first it was the old 6-screw type. Kind of cool. New technology with old school vibe. Cool!

Yes. Happy days.

Though this particular thread might not be quite the place to say too much against the practice of sniping - if you take my meaning? :D

In a sense, I totally agree with you. OTOH, I'd like to give this brand new design of Fender's a whirl. If it 'bites the big one', I can always drop the Floyd in at a later date.

Unfortunately, my cat, "Niles" is taking the 'big dirt nap'. He was indeed, a great cat (big too).

Remember when good scores could be had on e-Bay, long before sniping was the norm? Well, one night I was on e-Bay, bidding on a Duncan HB. Niles hops up and casually strolls across the keyboard right when I was in the process of bidding $32 maximum. As a result of his stroll, I (or should I say, Niles) wound up bidding $32K on the pickup! Luckily, I won it for $31.10. I really do miss that cat!!

In that case, in the spirit of the build and the generousity of my fellow Fender Fourumites, you have a new package on its way to you. EVERY build needs a feline helper. Just make sure you watch out for a package with breathing holes and/or emitting noises. Enjoy!

Funny, just been to pick Lucy up from the Brownies centenary celebration. Whilst there, I spent my time talking to a sniper.
He didn't have his gun with him though. Just his daughter.

Don't bring up Marmite!!

Some of you fellows must have had a good laugh over my not knowing what Marmite was and having me search the various guitar stores on the web since I thought it was used in conjunction with guitar maintenance!!!

You Brits and Aussies must have had a good laugh on me.
