I've bought what I think is a genuine 1991-92 mexican stratocaster. However from googling lots of headstocks it appers that they come with 1 retainer style tree string.

This guitar has 2 "roller" style tree strings. Is this likely to be a fake?[/img]

Did you buy the guitar new or used? If it was used the previous owner may have added the second tree

Well, from the pictures you have posted I would say.............we need pictures.

BTW, I bought the two American string trees and added them to my MIM, it cost like 9 bucks.
