Hi, im from Guadalajara, México
I want a Standard Strat® HSS with Locking Tremolo, but people of each store i ask for it, they tell me that thouse kind of guitars are made only in México because in EUA dont make with the padlock (I dont know the real name of it).

So i want that guitar but made in EUA. is that possible?

Thanks (:

PD: Someone knows if Fender have a oficial e-mail contact ??? I only found a phone contact.

I don't quite understand what you are asking but here is a email address for you. Click on this link and look at the bottom of the page. Good luck!

So you are looking for an HSS Strat with a locking (Floyd Rose) tremolo? This one here, right? http://www.fender.com/products/search.p ... 1144700302

It is made in Mexico. It's not possible to get a US one becasue Fender does not offer a made in USA version of this anymore. You'll have to find a used one if you want made in USA.

Not to hop onto someone else's thread, but for those who are in the know about the current Standard HSS with Locking Trem, is the trem flat mounted (not routed out underneath)?

I really like the idea of these guitars, but have vowed never again to get a backrouted Floyd and all the setup headaches they entail. I've never run across one in person, but the pics look like the Floyd is mounted flat to the face of the guitar Eddie Van Halen style. Is that the case?
