Silly trivial request, I know, but I am looking for a picture (or even a description) of the gig bag that came with the MIM 60th Anniversary Stratocaster (the Blizzard Pearl one).

I heard the bag had some sort of funky zipper pulls shaped like guitar picks and some other things.

I put a used 60th Anniv Strat on layaway at GC and was trying to get them to see if the guitar came with the special bag and kind of got blank stares.

Was hoping to give them some sort of picture or description to dig though the pile of bags they had in back.

I could live without the bag, but just thought it would be cool to have

Appreciate any help

My guess would be that GC will stick your guitar into a plain gig bag off the shelf and then mark up the special bag for resell. Maybe not - all Guitar Centers aren't the same.

Yes it was a special gig bag that came with the 60th anny MIM Standard in 2006. I googled "Fender 60th anniversary gig bag" and found this:

Here are more specs on the guitar http://www.elderly.com/fmic/items/FS60AS.htm and http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/prod ... sku=517894
See how it says included is a "60th Anniversary gig bag". Let GC know that was part of the deal with that guitar.

Yes it was a special gig bag that had the 60th logo on front and the pick shaped zipper pulls. Not sure if they have become collectible, but you should get it if the previous owner included it in the sale to GC. If not, maybe ask for a small discount or have them throw in a nicer gig bag to sale.

The problem is that when GC gets a used guitar in, they do not inventory the gig bag or case that the guitar came in with. Heck, they don't even do that with new guitars! They just throw it in the stockroom and pull them out at random. Someone else may have got that used 60th gig bag with some other guitar. Good luck!

It is a regular deluxe mexican gigbag but with some cool details.
