i have a 1985 Japanese Built Squier Stratocaster. black with white pickups and pickguard and rear spring cover. other than the horrid looking pearloid pickguard it's totally original. this guitar came with the licensed Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo (cast with the fender logo in the tailpiece) and instead of a locking nut, the string locking mechanism is in between the nut and tuning machines. i'm trying to find out, ballpark, what it might be worth, a neighbor has been bugging the crap out of me to sell it to him. i need to know what theyre selling for ballpark figures as i dont want to screw this guy but i dont want to hurt myself either.
