I have a 2006 CS 1960 Relic Stratocaster. I have called Fender etc. and they say the info is "kept close to the chest" yea right? What are the pups in the guitar?? The neck is really nice as far as a new Slab in old style but I am considering changing pups to Bare Knuckles from UK for that bell chime pre-cbs groove. Any help is appreciated. They won't reveal anything about the winds etc. of the pick-ups that are stock in the guitar.

I put bareknuckles sultans in my custom classic. In my opinion Fender does not offer any pickup of BareKnuckles quality.
Be prepared for the pickups to change sound. Handwound pickups on roughcast magnets do. Mine did in around 6months.
I certainly don't regret the swap. The custom classic had SCN's in, which are a pickup I adore. My other 3 strats have them
