Mate if your turn around is 3 months then you're doing great compared to some in this forum.

I like that signature on your posts Tyrone - very clever.

As for the waiting time on your Strat, you're specifying a particular colour and model. It will exist somewhere of course assuming that Fende make it, but your dealer can't hold every colour and every model. They simply couldn't store that level of stock. So it has to be ordered - then the distributor has the same issues to manage.

Here's a really radical idea that has always worked for me. I go into the store and try a guitar from their extensive range. If I like it, I buy it and immediately take it home. If they haven't got exactly what I'm looking for, I try another store.

What if you fixate on a specific guitar and wait months for it, then try it out and it's not for you or it's bit of a turkey? What if it's a great guitar but looks completely different "in the flesh"? Life is too short for that sort of grief.

Thanks but I can't take credit for the sig. It come from a character in a TV Show called "Futurama" . The character is Zapp Brannigan.

Completely clueless character!

I don't know why there is a backorder for your guitar. We don't work for Fender, we just play them
