Hi all, I'm thinking about getting a Roland GR-20 guitar synth pedal and using it with my Strat Plus.

Has anyone got experience of using the GK-3 pickup with a Strat? How do you fit it? Any problems? Does it work OK with a trem bridge?

Any experience/guidance welcome.

The GK-3 manual GK-3 manual at Roland's site shows plenty of graphics that depict a Stratocaster bridge pickup and bridge, so I guess it can be easily done. Other than that I have no experience with the GK-3.

Thanks or that FJ, I actually found the manual after posting my question last night... I'd previously only seen pictures of the synth pickup on hardtails and they advertise it with a fitting for Les Paul bridges, so wanted to be sure there weren't issues using it with a Strat.

The fitting instructions seem pretty comprehensive too... I think I'll give it a go. Worst that can happen is I end up with two unwanted holes in my scratchplate!
