Like the title says I was offered a Richie Sambora strat with small star inlays for a good price but wanted to know the used value of one with a slight blemish on it. All help is appreciated! =)

As Cheech and Chong would say....10 dollars, a bottle of booze and a hooker...., but I digress.

Seriously, as with any guitar, you need to play it first to see if it is a guitar that you can bond with, if it plays poorly for you, a dollar is too much to invest.
If you are looking at it as an investment, save your money and buy gold.

I.E., a signature guitar is not an investment, it is a instrument that should be played, and that is the value of it.
If it plays good, feel right and the price is withing what you feel is fair, then go for it.

I should reword what I wrote, I really mean how much is a fair price to pay for one. Im not looking for it as an investment but I don't know the used value of one on the market as I haven't seen one for sale in quite some time. I just want to make sure I am not over paying for it, is all what I am getting at.

First question...

American made, Mexican made or Japanese made?

Well, there are none in the guitar center used gear store. There are two on e-bay, one has a signed pick guard for 2600.00, the other is white and has a buy it now of 2990.86 or best offer.

Personally, I would not give more then 1200.00 for either.

Jeffytune,

Thanks for the reply back but the 2 guitars you mentioned ar the older usa sambora model. They have large star inlays that get smaller up the neck where as the one I have in question is the newer model they released and has all small star inlays. Also that one for 2606 I think is shill bidded as the one bidder has 1 positive feedback but you are not allowed to view that feedback for some reason.
