As great as Todd Krause's work is,I'm not in love with the paint scheme. It's no doubt an exceptional guitar but when 1st rate woods are used I much prefer to see the natural grain as opposed to having it covered by an opaque paint job.

I guess option two does not apply to guitarists

I like the way the paint follows the contour of the neck plate, not the heel shape. Nice detail.

I think a pearl white pickguard would set the guitar off beautifully. Sort of like a pearl steering wheel on a '57 Chev......
