Hi i have a made in mexico Buddy Guy Strat. it has vintage style tuners and i wanted to switch them to the Fender Gold Elite Guitar Tuner w/Pearl Button style. will they work on my strat?

You will have to drill out the holes for the tuners' posts (vintage tuners have smaller posts than modern tuners), and you will have to drill some new "guide holes" for the mounting pins of the modern tuners (these holes will be hidden by the new tuners). Then you will still have holes left over from the mounting screws of the vintage tuners; some people fill those holes, others just leave them.
