In addition to this FSR American Standard, Fender offers the same guitar in Cherry Sunburst (MN) and Blizzard Pearl (RW) with Vintage Noiseless pickups and an Eric Clapton Active Circuitry. This guitar came with a special battery compartment as a bonus - there's no longer needed to remove the tremolo backplate when you have to change a drowned battery.

Old Powerhouse Strat design for the active circuit I expect....

I'd like to see an American Std. Strat - special run with the 69 CS pickups.

I'd like to see the guitar you're talking about in an HSS format with two CS 69s in the neck/middle positions and an Enforcer humbucker in the bridge position.

BTW I've read on a post that the Enforcer has been discontinued.

Sweet guitar but I'm with the vintage split post Kluson crowd.I wish Fender would make an authentic 64/65 pre CBS Sunburst Strat-to my ears and hands they were the best Fender ever made.

The one with the EC boost is and noiseless pickups is pretty cool. Can't say I found the Strat that had started this thread special.

Great looking guitar! My experience with Sweetwater has been excellent. Last year I had a problem with a piece of equipment they had just shipped me and the corrective action was wonderful and fast.

Enjoy the new axe!

If you miss the boat on those, there's also the limited 150 run of 2010 Thin Skin, 2-point trem, American Strats for about the same or even less $...

Nice addition Mike! If that one got CS69 it would be just perfect match to that limited color.
