Im preety happy for what it is. I was going to pay just about the same on GC/MF for a standard plus taxes. But sweetwater is tax free. So I´ve paid just about the same on a limited run.

This FSR US Standard comes equipped with Fender locking machine heads and a set of Texas Special single-coils for that gritty SRV/Roadhouse blues-rock tone!

Glad to see this baby with a Mercedes Blue finish - reminds me the original Mark Kendrick-masterbuilt Strat used by Eric Clapton in Hyde Park in 1996!

Now begins my GAS for equipment to match this babe.
Just preordered my Line6 POD HD300.
What amp do you guys think will suit this better at home levels ? I tought about a Pro Jr for its clean headroom and nice tone. The HD300 must have good clean headroom for its amp modelers. Any suggestions on the $399 budget will be welcome.

I see the reason behind the observation, but as an American Standard it wouldn't make sense to retro the tuners. In addition, I'd be wanting one of my personal neck preferences on the guitar.

Nice looking guitar - but I hate 'exclusives'...typically higher pricing with no competition, and no local representation.

But since you were going to order one online anyway for near the same cost - seems like a decent buy!
