I have used quite a few of the GFS pups and highly recommend them. I have mostly used the humbuckers, the Fat PAF and Classic 59. To me they sound great and I have not had any issues with the pups.

Definitely worth the investment.

im with jgauker, their pups are great IMO.

I have a set of the "Premium II" alnico II pups that sound amazing. I compared them to my Fender 57/62's and the difference in tone is almost unnoticeable (tone difference could be due to diff. body woods).

highly recommended. not just for price, they're also great pups.

I would also highly recommend them! I've got their P-90s and their Fat Tele bridge and Classic Tele neck pups and they are awesome! I would love to pick up a set of the Premium II Strat set (Vintage), but I don't have another Strat to put them in...yet!

I've met Jay (Abend) and have used his pickups on a few different occasions. He's a down-to-earth guy and let me replace a set that didn't sound what I had hoped for. I like the vintage boutique single coils.

For what it's worth, the GFS P-90s I have in my cheap Tele Thinline-copy compare vary favorable to the Loller P-90s that I have in a WAY more expensive Washburn. Those Lollar pups were big bucks and if I could do it again, I would have gone GFS and saved a ton of cash! They're that good IMO.

I plan on buying GFS Lipstick Pickups for my Strat. I've heard them in a Strat before and they sound really good, especially when you consider the price.

I put a set of overwound premiums in my MIM Strat and it was the best move I made in regards to that guitar. While I was at it I replaced the pots with 500k and a Sprague 042 cap, what a difference! I get a lot of compliments on my tone now, I was going to sell the Strat but I thought for a relativley small price I'd give it a shot, I'm glad I did.
