I have this lonestar strat and I'm debating on putting a blackpearloid pickguard on it instead of the tortiose shell? How do you think that would look?

Could be good! I recently put a mint green pickguard on an olympic white/rosewood Am Std: it looks REALLY good, much beeter than the parchment colour it came with!
