Hi carlus,

You can email Fender with your serial number and they can tell you all about it. They can only go back to about 1993 though. The first few digits of your sn will tell the approx year of manufacture. Example, Z0xxxxxx would indicate 2000 to 2001. N3xxxxxx would indicate 1993. The letter D at the beginning would be a Deluxe, DZ3xxxxxx would be a Deluxe made in 2003 to 2004. An S at the beginning would be for a signature series, SN3xxxxxx would be a signature series made in 1993 to 1994. :)

Send email to: consumerrelations@fender.com

thanks so much; i don't think they will have problems with the year, it's 2005 or 2006! it's my first Fender;

i saw it in the shop, played it, sounded and looked like the one for me, i could not really afford it but i payed and got away quick so i would not think twice...i did not ask questions to the dealer and few month after that the shop was closed;
this is why do not know anything about it!
Carlus
