No way! You didn't get screwed. Texas Specials are made (at least this is what I've been told- someone please correct me if I'm wrong!) in the regular production facility and also by the Custom Shop. You have Custom Shop PU's, that's what the sticker means. That logo (the Custom Shop chevron) is a nice thing to see on anything Fender...

it says "fender" instead of that "f" , then under it it says "custom shop" and there is no "usa"

Sorry about misunderstanding your concern. Here's a pic of a PU w/ exactly the same sticker. The shape of the base is slightly different, however, as well as the indentation on the base plate. It almost seems as though you have reasons other than the sticker to be suspicious. Is the seller shady?

well i took off the pickguard and inspected all the pickups. 2 of them along with a pearly gates are on my guitar and the bridge one is out for sale. all the pickups have that strange contour in plastic that you see in my picture, but i don't know why because the plastic is one piece. wires are as i think they're supposed to be :bridge and neck have white/black wires from a material like shoe laces or rope.middle has black/yellow. the difference between them is that the wires on the bobins or what they are called are dark brown /bordeaux on the neck and middle pickups, but it is golden/orange-ish on the bridge pickup

Do you have a reason to distrust the seller of the guitar/pickups?

The bottom line is whether they sound good to you. If they have significantly improved the tone of your guitar, that's what is important. The Texas Specials that I have in my tele look slightly different, but they also have the newer custom shop sticker, meaning that they might just be newer and therefore slightly different. Since you bought them internationally, there's probably nothing that you can do even if they were counterfeit. But as I wrote before, if the sound is better TO YOU, then you came out on top.

Those pickups look okay to me.

I have some old (from the mid-1990s) Texas Specials in a guitar, but I don't remember how exactly the Custom Shop sticker looks.

Can you measure them? Give us the DC resistance and inductance if you can. Do you have a compass to check the magnets' orientation?
