May I ask what is the standard string size of Strat?
Is it 9-42?
As I cannot find it on the website.

Hi Jazzblack

With a change to 10's theres a very good chance the truss rod will not need a tweak, just keep an eye on things as regards neck relief.

The nut shouldnt notice the change either.

Its always worth checking the intonation when you change strings and especially if the gauge is changed.

As others write sometimes YMMV

When you change to 10s it is VERY likely your bridge will "float" considerably higher off the body so will need some setting up. Even when I changed string sizes on my Tele (with a fixed bridge) the action needed considerable adjustment so on a Strat it should be even more obvious.

Actually it depends on the model Strat you have - some do come with .010s like the American Vintage series (not sure about the MIM Classic series) and a lot of the Artist models. However, most of the other models do come with .009s.

I always recommend checking your entire setup at each string change whether you change gauges or not. It only takes a few minutes and it's worth it.

+1
To see what string guage your Strat came from the factory with, find your Strat in the "Products" section here and click on the "Specs" tab.

Even something as changing brands and sticking to the same guage can cause a change in tension as different string brands use different alloys or different ratios of the same alloys thus changing the way strings react to tension put on them.
