I'd like a maple vintage tint neck on the rootbeer model (with parchment/aged white plastic) I think the rosewood looks best on the orange one though (IMO) But hey, if I was in charge of design & color options at Fender there would be a list a mile long of how I'd spice things up.

Yea I caught that right away, I was just saying when I worked at the Fullerton plant, we made rogers drum kits as well as guitars and Rhoads pianos.

Black sparkle would be cool, did you see the rootbeer one?

Transparent black is one of the hardest colors to do right, to dark and you can't see to the wood or in this case, the sparkle, to light and you get a gray.

I have not seen the rootbeer in person, so I can't comment on it, but from pictures I have seen, I think it's too red.
But photos never really show you the color.

Heres a Yamaha drum in black sparkle, to me it's too gray.

Now here is a Ernie Ball guitar in there black, to me it is dark enough, but it looks like it has green sparkle mixed it is.

This one is a Ludwig drum, I think it is dark enough, but it is hard to see the sparkle in it, it may look better in person.

Like I said, it's a hard color to do right.

i agree with the above. i think maybe the lighting wasnt right for that last sparkle drum, should have came through better. its plenty dark enough.
the first was very gray indeed and to me, a bit to much sparkle.
i would like to see a guitar done in a flipflop paint job. that could really be cool if the right colors were picked and the guy doing the spray knew how to lay it down right.
