Seymour Duncan rewound Mustang pick-ups.

Never heard that one before, could be true, but it would have to be with strat covers.

Well, I did a Google search and came up with information on the newer Fender made ones, how each pick-up is unique, the neck using larger Alnico 3's and the bridge is alnico 5's and all, no confirmation of the use of rewound Mustang pick-ups.

I guess we will need more diggin' here to confirm the truth of his claim.

Speaking of Eric Johnson, did anyone catch that little story of his, ( I think it was in Guitar Afficionado Mag.

Story goes like this....

About 20+ years ago, He had a few 60's strats stolen, never found them.
Recently, some little old lady who lives in his neighborhood, her husband passed away and left a few guitars behind.
She decided to put them up for sale, Eric went to check them out and upon inspection, came to the realization that these were some of his long lost stolen guitars.

I find the story rather amusing, that is as long as the little old lady had no prior knowledge of the guitars being stolen goods, and nothing serious happened to her..
