Hello all! I currently have an American Strat that is black with a white pickguard and white pickups. I am looking at changing things around to a black pickguard with black pickup covers. The problem is that I am not sure what that would look like. Does anyone have any pictures of a black on black strat that you could post for me to see and compare? Thanks.

I have a HWY1 HSS strat that came with a white pickguard, but just the other day I changed it to a black one. Here's the before and after:

Hope that helps :)

Just wondering CAFeathers, where did you buy your black output jack and bridge? I've found plenty online but I'd rather buy from somewhere I know I'm safe buying from. Is my best bet eBay?

Johnny Cash would be proud, hehe.

I think black on black looks alright. As long as the pickguard is multi layered so it will be outlined against the black body.
