And i'm absolutely in LOVE/LUST with it !!
Except for my MexiTele i've lived "on the dark side" of tone for over 35 yrs. now,and have some fine guitars in my collection, but O!M!G! this is an absolute runaway as the finest guitar i've ever owned !!
I've never even felt "hand rolled f/b edges" before, but it was instant bliss....as was the S1 switching and , and, everything about it.
The tones are superb, and the general playability of it is amazing.....it's going to take a little getting used to the "F-spaced as opposed to G-spaced" strings (my Tele has a B7 Bigs on it) but it's working out already........this guitar is really hard to put back in the case!!

I'm playing it thru a Blackstar head and Fender cab with a 12" Jensen "Vintage Ceramic" spkr.......they're made for each other.

So, heres the required guitar porn.....

I've not posted here often, but i'm DEFINITELY an F-guy too now!

Congrats!

You cannot go wrong with the American Deluxe. Those necks are to die for.

Congrats on the new guitar. Opening the case for the first time is a real magic moment. I bought an Amer. std a few months back and the feeling rivaled the day they delivered my first Harley. Actually I love my Strat more. Imagine that. And it's a hell of a lot safer (unless you are playing in the rain)

That is a seriously sweet Strat! I spend most of my time on mid range Fenders - some of which I have modded into some very nice players, but I have never "opened up a case" on my very own, spankin new, high-end Strat! Awesome axe!
