I tried another pickup in my deluxe Strat, but now I want to get back to delta tone pickup. I mounted it reverse(so Fender stamp on the pickup is upside-down)
I get noise in these positions: (1-neck,5-bridge)
S1 DOWN - pos 2
S1 UP - pos 4
Is it normal? I don't remember if all positions were noiseless...
What should I check?

I looked at diagrams but everything looks fine. It seems like some problem with humbucker coil, the one near bridge.

I checked coils with a screwdriver and it looks they work properly.
Humbucker is also a little more noisy than SCN pickups, especially in weird guitar positions.

Sounds like maybe one or more of the ground wires is not connected, or connected to the wrong place. There is a difference in the ground wire and the negative side of the pickups. BTW, on the pickup selector switch, position 1 is the bridge, position 5 is the neck. I don't know why the drawing has it backwards. The wiring is correct in the drawing, but for some weird reason they've got the positions mislabeled.
