Wouldn't you like to replace your White pickup covers with Tortoise Shell Pickup Covers, but there doesn't seem to be any.

I found those, they're just black Pickup covers with a hunk of tortoise shell glued on. I mean made out of the same material as the pickguard.

I should have included Tortoise Shell Knobs, switch tips, and Tremelo Arm in the poll as well.

I wanted to change out my plastic parts to match my pickguard, unfortunatley, this doesn't seem to be an option if you have a Tortoise Shell pickguard. (Of course I mean faux-tortoise shell, I wouldn't want any kindly critters harmed in the making of my Strat)

That's closer than I got, and I've been looking all weekend. At least that means there out there somewhere, they must have a supplier. Thanks for the link.

Forgive me if this delves too deaply into aesthetics, but even though I love the tortoise shell, you'd be camoflauging all the parts of your lovely guitar. You'd end up with one big TS blur. Contrast is key.

For example, in another post someone said "nothing looks better than black knobs on a TS pickguard." Take a look at all the pictures on the other extenstive "Show us your strat" post and see if you don't see what I mean.

I was looking at a sun Burst Black Pickguard with Black Plastic, and my Buddy Guy has a White Pickguard with white Plastic, and I kinda liked the way it all blended in.

And, I'm a little embarassed to say, I noticed a lot of folks have the same Deluxe Players Strat in Saphire Blue, so the 80's kid in me wanted to be different.

Oddly enough, it's that very post that made me want TS Plastic parts. I thought, it would look cool if that had matching plastic.

VGStrat made a very good point, I've decided against all TS plastic parts.
I'm Canging those Blazing White parts with all Shiny Gold Pick up Covers, Knobs and Tips.

I'll post a better before shot and an After in the Pics Of Your Strat Thread when the parts arrive in the mail.

Tortoise pickup covers, knobs, etc. I think would be a bit much. And this is coming from someone who has a tortoise pickguard and backplate on a Natural Ash Strat.

I would love to see wood pickup covers (actual wood). Or maybe leather. I would expect both to be pretty expensive. I think I could blow the coin, it be worth it to me.
