Hello, im interested in getting a vintage hot rod 62 strat but i would have to order without playing it because my local shop does not carry them. They do have a john mayer strat though and looking at the specs, they appear to have the exact same neck (aside from the frets) Is this true, can anyone who has played them both comfirm this for me. It would be really helpfull if they were the same so i can try it before i order. thanks
