I ain't laughing. Doesn't look too much different than my 1989 senior photo with my Loch Ness Green Ibanez Jem. I had about the same hair, but was wearing my biker jacket. Ah, the 80s.

Yeah... the 80s were great!

Here's another photo from around 1994-5.

When I get off the road, I can scan in a close up, but you should be able to zoom in on it.

Rod, I only wish I had a crystal ball to help you find it, but I will keep a eye out for it.

Hi Rodney,I know how bad you must feel as a beloved guitar just can't be replaced no matter how much another could look like and even have the same specs.Over time the guitar just seems to be part of you-it's that comfortable.I had an el cheapo Raven acoustic that I had bought just to take camping and to parties stolen and I felt bad enough about that so I can only imagine how bad you must feel.I hope that some honest person comes forward and leads you to her-Good Luck.

I can see why you would offer $1000.00 reward, those guitars ( and I have one) sound better than any $1000.00 Fender you could buy today!

Thank you.

Dude I wish the best for you, If I were to find it you wouldn't have to pay me a $2,000 reward.

I been a bit worried about one of my bro's that he might pawn off my guitar for some money- the other day he was pulling the stickers off my guitar case which didn't really make much sense, until I found out later (through work) that many shops don't pay the extra money for cases if they are heavily graffitied and stickered. It wouldn't be the first time my brother has sold off my stuff... but nothing as big as a guitar (though if I were to sum up everything, he's probably sold about $500 dollars of my stuff, and I bet an American Strat would get him some good money)

I feel like there's going to be a day when I walk in to my room and my strat or one of my other guitars are going to be missing...

Christ, there are some real scumbags in this world...

Rodney, I'm very sorry for you man. I know that doesn't help in finding the guitar, but I would just like to add another word of completely understanding where you're coming from. Nothing beats the feel of the one.

Smokey, here's what you need to do.

Wait till your brother is asleep. Pour some pepper over his closed eyes. Leave him sleep 20 minutes, half hour. Then punch him in the face, hard as hell, hard enough to knock him out.
He'll wake up after a really delayed reaction time. Plenty of time for you to sit down on the other side of the room.
Because of the pepper, he'll think he's going blind.
When his vision finally clears, tell him straight, whilst holding a pair of scissors.
He touches your gear again and he'll be the next John Wayne Bobbit.

He'll likely attack you, but you'll be laughing so much you won't care.

The first thing you should do is register your Guitar here: http://dbtwang.com/

Put up some pictures and then you can report it stolen. Apparently they've had a huge success rate with helping reunite Guitarists with stolen Guitar. It may be worth a shot.
