I use BareKnuckles Sultans for that stuff.
Very prominent, strident high mids.
57/62's should get you there too.

I think almost any Strat pickups will be good for reggae.

The guitar player for a local reggae band always used a stock Strat with the selector in position 2 most of the time and got that real nice percussive sound from it.
