decided to go with a prewired pickguard through the techs contacts..
im keeping my loaded pickguard scns s1 switch intact for later.


this exactly what i ordered..
texas special pickups neck and middle and dimarzio paf 36th anniversary
500k volume pot and 250 k cts tone pots push pull, for blender pot neck and singlecoil bridge, and push pull pot to make humbucker single coil byitself.
wired up to a black perloid pickguard (xefri inspired) cream pickup covers and tone knobs, and zebra humbucker.
will go on this



i may change the knobs later to telecaster black knurled knobs.
well see how she looks moreless next week.

its finally back from getting new pickups.

'scuse the mess, this guitar is versatile.

played it till 2,3 in the morning. woke up early played it some more.
im very impressed with the tone.
i went with 500k volume pots and 250 k tone pots push pull.

im very impressed with the texas specials.. its very well balanced with the dimarzio 36th anniversary humbucker.
the middle tone pot push pull is wired to make the hb a single coil.
the bridge tone pot also push pull works a blender pot between the neck and bridge hb.
with both the middle and bridge pulled, makes the bridge a single coil, and blends it with the neck, this one in particular gives me a creamy tone with, sunshine of your love clapton overtones.
i believe im very happy with it..
