The guitar looks like an old Strat Plus with Lace Sensors. Might be an old Clapton version that Gooch uses. A. Lee used a souped up ES-335 that has a single coil in the middle. I really love Lace Sensors, and are in the Strat Ultra I own. Joe Gooch is a very tasteful guitarist who should turn it up a bit.

No problem! its good to see fellow fans of ten years after. I thought I was one of a very few that liked 10 years after. My dad actually got me into them and thanks to my dad I got to meet Pepe(hope I'm spelling it right) from the Good Rats. My dad's brother actually took guitar lessons under the guitarist from the good rats. But anyway I personally think Gooch is awesome guitarist and definitely underated by my generation.
