i liked my squier decked but i set this one to float, i almost never use the tremolo i prefer bends but i like having options and therefore leave the arm on. how do you bend the arms?

It's quite easy to bend the arms,first wrap the threads with several winds of old flannel or other soft material so they won't become flattened and clamp it in a vise then bend the bend at the top of the threads in increments until you get the angle you feel comfortable with.Then clamp the longer shaft just before the slighter bend and bend that by hand also until the right angle is reached.It's better to bend a little at a time unless you're sure of the angle you want because bending it past the suitable angle and having to bend it back weakens the metal.
