What is this for a type? It is from 2002-2003. Is it a Standard American Series or another type?

Hi Themarade. Well, assuming the knobs are a later user mod: I have an American Series Strat from two years after this one. Mine has only one string tree and the block type saddles, not the vintage ones I see in your pictures.

Those are small details that might have changed over a couple of years. Or they may mean yours is not an Am Series.

If the knobs are original then it is something completely different. No idea what.
