l was thinking of getting a new strat and my current choices are

Squier Classic Vibe 60s strat

MIM Standard Strat

MIM Classic Players 60s Strat

MIM Road Worn Series 60s Strat ln White

lm leaning more towards the road worn because of the feel and look of them but l herd the Classic Players 60 strat ls good and for the price of a road worn l could get a new American special or a used Japanese Strat

Your title to this thread suggests you already have a MIM Std Strat. Is that true? Then get a Tele for variety :P

yeah l wouldent mind a Tele for more bite and gritty classic rock/blues

lm trying to go cheap here to save for a Custom Shop Strat ln a year or two so l was thinking one of the Squier Classic Vibes Teles (they have 3 variations now) or a Fender MIM Classic Players Teles which are pretty cheap here ln Canada ( like 500 used)

I say try as many in your price range. I have a Squier cv60 and I love it and play it as much as my Highway 1 and American Special. If you can afford the CP 60 or the Road Worn I recommend them as well. I personally do not like the Road Worn series due to the cosmetics, but most of the ones I have played in the stores were real players and sounded good. Let us know what you decided and pics are always welcome.
