Just FYI it wasn't called the Voodoo Caster, it was called the 60's Reverse headstock Stratocaster.

They are somewhat desired, but I wouldn't say collectible. Towards the end Musicians Friend Blew them out at $399, below retail.

This guy has been trying to seel his for close to 700 for a LONG TIME

I don't think that they'll ever pull in big bucks, down the road theey may be worth a few dollars more than the standard MIM but not enough to buy a new car or anything possibly a case or 2 of beer.

I own one.
I love it!
I, did , however HAVE to make some "improvements" on the instrument.
First and foremost....the STOCK pickups SUCKED!!! They HAD to go!

Here's what I did:
N-DiMarzio Area 67
M-DiMarzio Area 58
Br. DiMarzio Virtual Solo

Out went the cheesy SINGLE ply pickguard, IN went a 3 ply (W,B,W)
Out went the crappy saddles, IN went a set of Graphtech Ferraglides.

This guitar now SCREAMS!!!!!
It is a tone monster!!!

I have one of these and I think its great I had to change a few things I changed the stock pickups to fralin woodstock 69s and the pickguard to a 3ply but with those little changes I can take it as a backup and not worry about anything I got it in 2007 and paid I think $699 Its one of the better quality MIM but I dont think it will fetch big bucks in the long run.

Exactly!! The stock pickups BITE!!
I love the guitar for it's Hendrix-y vibe; and it is, electronics aside, a well made piece of wood!!
I could care less about 'collector value'!
It is a musical tool.....not an investment tool!
It's made to be played!!!

Do you mean the 1997 MIA Voodoo Strat? Or the 2007 MIM 60's Reverse?

Came with hard case, a cool Hendrix vintage style ACE strap, a white coil cable, and some other misc case candy. Should have the Hendrix image on the neck plate, TN7 serial number.

On the back of MY 60's Reverse Special...I have a special bit of Jimi "VooDoo" watching over me as I play!
My little bit of inspiration!
