On my old strings, when I tune down a half step (i do this a lot) the tremelo sinks down slightly, it hasn't caused any trouble, but is it harmful?
Also, I'm going from the original super bullets that came with my strat to d'Adarios which I'm told by guitar center are the right ones to get. Anything else I should know?

The "RIGHT" Strings for your guitar are the ones you like. Experiment with different brands and gauges to find strings you like.

The bridge drop is normal if you go from standard tuning to down 1/2 step. Remember though that it also changes the intonation each time too.

You can adjust for different string guages, and therefore tension by adjusting how far in the tremelo claw is screwed into the body inside the tremelo cavity. You can also change the number of springs used, or the strength of the springs used. Play around with it. It will teach you a lot about your axe, and you can't break anything unless you are careless. Also check out the set-up guides for Strats on this site. It is pretty informative. A good place to refer to about your Strat.

There's no right or wrong strings, it's just whatever works for you. If you change gauges it's likely that you'll need to adjust your tremolo tension, but it's an easy ting to do... just take your time and adjust a little at a time
