Serial number is not of any help to us. MZ8... says it's a 2008 or early 2009, but that's all we can tell. http://www.fender.com/support/mexican_instruments.php To the general public, we can't determine model name from serial number.

Either:
1. Email the serial number to Fender customer service and they can tell you the exact model.

OR

2. Post some detailed pics here and we can tell you what model you have.

The most common model is a Standard Stratocaster and its worth $500 USD new. If it is damaged or sold second hand then it has less value. They go for roughly half the price second hand depending on demand and condition.

I hope you enjoy that and your new Gdec 30.

Upload it to a website like tinypic.com
Copy the URL to the picture you upload
Paste the URL into your message, highlight it and hit the 'Img' button above.

Example
