Hi!

I know a guy wich is selling a Sambora here for 2500€.Pretty good price here in Europe, but is not a beater one...

There´s another one in London for like 1800€ wich is more a beater, but the guy just accepts local pick-up, so....

How much is 2500 euro in USA money? Do you know of anyone with just the neck for sale?

I saw the one for 1800Euro and it doesnt look beat up at all....I'd offer money for it but he only accepts local pickup and I live across the pond.

So the guitar in the links you left was once yours? Both links are the same picture of the same guitar.

2500 euro is approx $3,183 US dollars.

The other one is a better deal but it would cost you quite a bit to pick it up locally..lol

1800 euro is approx $2,291 factor in a round trip plane fare to London etc..ehhhhhh

BTW in all this confusion..somewhere along the line I have seen a nice Sambora star maple neck on ebay..startong bid at $500.00 USD. Out of my league, but judging by the prices these guitars are bringing, might be worth a look and bid if you really want this neck.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Richie-Sambora-Fend ... 3f0288939d

Ironically, this neck is located literally walking distance from where I am in Los Angeles. But I can not afford to bid..it is a nice one for sure although TOTALLY stripped of tuners and hardware.

Ebaysux, yea I am currently watching it but its probably going to sell for quite a bit and I don't like bidding wars. Thanks though. As for the 1800 euro sambora I might ask an english friend of mine to pikc it up for me and mail it to me. I want to talk to the seller though and see if he'd take some $$ off the price. Not that its a bad price or anything but I'm not a rich man and it never hurts to haggle

The trick is....not to get involved in bidding wars..that is for fools.

What you do..is simply enter the highest amount you are willing to pay...and walk away.

I have got some fantastic deals that way...and if not..then it wasn't meant to be.

You understand when you enter you max bid...it does not bid that amount..it only bids starting above the highest bid below yours. If someone has already entered a higher bid then you are willing to bid, it will let you know right away that you have been out bid.

You may know this already..but either way it is wise of you not to get into a bidding war..that is a sellers dream and a buyers nightmare.

The neck is really nice, I would submit a bid if i really had the cash for this one.

Well Someone has posted a bid already so we will see. I actually found an atlas brand guitar taht is a strat copy and made in thailand. I see the reviews of them are really good. Long story short it has the pearloid star inlays like the Sambora guitar and was apparently a Sambora copy. I might actually go for that. I sent a pm to the owner of it with an offer. I'll see what I get back. Of course the owner lives in the uk....so shipping will be high but it will be cheaper than the usa strat neck on ebay I fear. If anyone really goes over $700 for the Sambora neck, god bless them. I have seen a bunch end around $400-$600.....so I am trying not to go above my cash limit.

Yep, cash is king..or as my uncle always says.."when you're broke, you're a joke".

Just be careful with replicas and copies etc..sometimes they seem okay by the pics, but when you get it you are very disappointed.

Yea I am trying to find more feedback on them but from all I read about them they are hand made guitars that have been in business for 30+ years and make custom pickups as well. According to the reviews I read, they are top quality and run around $1500 + for a strat/prs custom new. They use nice woods and hand shape the neck themselves. The inlay material is top notch and I might say even better than Fenders star inlays. I could be wrong though. We will see though as I did make a small offer for it. I figure its worth what I offered and worse comes to worse I don't get it....but I we will see.

Yes, that was my guitar, sold her less than a month ago.

1996 Sambora with a NICE Cherry Sunburst, but the one I got now, this early Sambora is just...AWESOME!

Thanks!

The Cherryburst Sambora is a quite rare guitar, I´ve just seen like 3 or 4 for sale in the last 7 years....

Theyér not cheap because of that...most go for about 2500€ as cheap, and is is a very good one, first year or spectacular cherryburst in very good condition, could go for even more.
