When performing or practising dont be afraid to attack the guitar fretboard with over the top rythms or lead playing. Build up into a frenzy of speed and aggression till you feel pain in your hand, do it in bursts and rest like an athlete eventually you will build power and confidence...the guitar was made to rock not just to sit on your manpower and look pretty blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and twaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Attack the Stratocaster .... and then ... after a vicious bit of soloing, slather some Marmite on it and toss it into the audience ...

I thought you meant "Attack OF the Stratocaster" and figured this thread was about a low budget Japanese movie starring Raymond Burr.

Oh well... :)

Oh no...here we go again with the Marmite........ The title of this thread sounds like the making of a Sci Fi movie...... The Attack of the Strat

When cleaning the strat spit on it it as much as possible this is far better than oils and also gives off a stench that will stop your friends touching your guitar.
In terms of aging the acid in your salivawill relic it quicker and MORE authentically blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and twaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Jokes notwithstanding, I think a Strat played really hard with an almost percussive plectrum strike sounds glorious. A Strat really does reward hard playing.

Wotney's Red Barrel goes good with Strats, at least it's easier to get down than Marmite lol.
