Post subject: strat with maple cap neck & transition fender logo?

can anyone suggest a strat that has the following neck:

maple cap neck
transition fender decal
large or small headstock
one string tree

You'll have to find a vintage Fender. It's the maple cap neck that is the problem. Fender doesn't do any resissues of maple cap mid-late 60's Strats. I don't think I've even seen one from the Custom Shop either.

Or go the DIY route. Check www.usacustomguitars.com and www.warmoth.com to see if they could do a maple cap neck for you. It won't have the Fender logo though :wink:

time machine cs - 66 ltd (i think it was from 2005) has a maple-cup neck and the transition logo

The Custom Shop produced a '61 Strat and a '63 Tele with the maple-cap neck option a couple of years ago. These guitars are no longer made.

Usually maple-cap necks are available as custom orders only.

MIK light ash Strats & Teles featured an abalone inlaid birdseye laminated maple fingerboard capped into a quartersawn maple neck.
