Sad to say, the links are all busted in this thread. :(

According to Xhefri - Fender changed it root directory on it's URLs for the Forum. :!:

Question being entertained is how to resurrect the links. :?:

Details please???? Very cool! What is up with 2 Strats? Since they are offset I can't tell if one is baritone or if you might be using a drop tuning on one or ? :?:

My suggestion, at this juncture, is to search the build author's posts and access it through that portal, until Brad gets back and finds a moment to attend to this.

Sad to hear that the links are messed up.

Okay, that's a Warmoth body and pickguard (and bridges, one trem, one not). It's a 3-piece body, sonic blue, really quality work from those good folks.

I do use a drop D and G tuning on the non-trem neck (for DGDGBE). It's got two MIM maple necks, as you can see. The trem neck has some early '70s Fender Strat pickups. The other neck has two mid-70's Strat pickups and a late '70s DiMarzio Fat Strat pickup in the bridge. The guitar has a stereo output, so I use a stereo cable and an outboard ABY box for neck selection. I didn't want to load it up with switches and knobs. The selector switch, being double throw, controls both necks in parallel. Each neck has a volume control, while only the non-trem has a tone control. Someday I'd like to get a dual-ganged pot for the tone pot, so each neck could have some tone control. And I really need to repot those early '70s pickups.

Very cool! I really have received good bodies from Warmoth. Sometimes the neck sockets are a bit tight and require a bit of sanding to get a neck to fit, but other than that, perfect!

The body quality sounds pretty good.

Have you used any Warmoth Necks?

Never used one of their necks. I know other people who have and they are top notch. I like doing builds that have a sibilance to an existing manufactured guitar, like a Fender Ultra or Strat Plus. I do not try to sell them as that but let people know they are modeled after that. So having the Fender logo on the neck is nice. People shy away from buying guitars with no name on the neck because they are just not sure about the quality and how well it was put together. I guess since I use Fender necks and have built a number people tend to trust me more so I have no problem selling a custom build. Fun hobby and makes a little extra buckaroos....

I appreciate your recommendation of Warmoth necks. Dark Penguin really likes his.

Your guitar build reputation is excellent, and I understand why the Fender logo on the neck is a major selling point.

Unless buyers start to question their fretsproutability!
