Finding more and more high-class instrument build threads on the forum, I figured it might be a cool feat to be able to cruise through an actual list of build threads past and present. A source for inspiration, information & motivation!

It is always a great pleasure to find new projects tackled and accomplished. More of this!

PS: Maybe it is in order to have some kind of format to the way a link is posted here - I suggest
- posting the link,
- quoting the title (or subject, as it were) of the thread and then a
- snapshot description of what kind of build it is (meaning Strat build; finish only; assembly only; Tele build; wiring job; etc.), and
- who the thread is by (nickname of the author should do the trick).

It will make searching for a topic a lot easier in the future.

Anyway, let's get going!

The Nutter

Hey there Ceri! I fear you're right - but I hope that people interested in builds will use the search function and thus hit on this thread. Some titles of these wonderful threads don't have the word "build" in them and are therefore hard to find.
... And if we do need to keep it on the first page, we'll just have to keep starting build threads... nudge nudge...
Cheers!

Too lazy to put it in your format but if you do I'll erase mine!!

Thanks, fhopkins, Sir! I was looking for that one, but quite frankly, master Ceri has a bunch of posts, I would have taken ages to find it! :)

So, here goes:

Great idea. I have to admit, while I like all the general topics that come and...go...on the Forum, they do "go"..... buried in oblivion. People receive answers to questions and get advice, which is good. But with the builder threads one can learn a ton of stuff and would like to refer back to it. I often return to Mr. C's build to looks at something he did, like how did he do that again? and so I have it bookmarked on my browser. BUT, I wonder if it would be good to have a new category on the general Forum? Just an idea. but then maybe one builder thread could be "refretting a Strat" or the like and people could find that very easy. I don't know...there are some pros and cons to the idea......just a thought.
