I recently purchased a new American Standard Strat. The question/problem I’m having is there is a terrible warbling when fret the G string. It gets much worse the higher up the neck I go. All the other strings sound fine. Please Help!

try cleaning the nut groove and saddle groove as well as turn the saddle adjustment screws a little to reseat them.

Sometime that helps

Setting the pickups too close to the strings can cause that.

Try lowering yours a skosh.
