B.B. and Buddy should be something else,Buddy is just wild altogether. I wouldn't blame for giving Mayer a miss,I'd only go to see him if it was guaranteed he'd burst into flames,he's getting the same "I'm the One" attitude that Malmsteen has.

I'd love to see BB and Buddy live. Mayer, not so much, the only thing that would be good about his show is all the women showing up.

Rene Martinez (former guitar tech for SRV) on John Mayer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sD3tmsuC6Q

"This kid, I'm talking about john, He's a kid to me, can write some songs He's the new breed of guitar playing.
Cause like I said I started out with SRV that's the old style if you want to call it old. John Mayer is John Mayer.
Today in his category is the best Guitar player that I can be around right now, He is just growing and growing.
I can't say that He is better than Stevie because you can't, you can't say that. But there is nobody right now that can play like John can.
He's upcoming, young a new breed. It's a whole new world now, brave new world."

You guys can't get away with a free John Mayer hate fest.

Lets face it you can't play like him, sing like him or be him.
I bet you were whinging when Gary Moore turned to blues saying the same thing.

If you have never seen John play watch him doing some Jimi.
